The Family
I have been with my wife, Janine for almost 40 years. We meet when I was attending college and she was in her senior year of high school. She is of Italian heritage and has a degree in Culinary Arts. To say that this is a good combination is like saying ice is cold.
We have two children (odd to say as they are both fully grown adults). Benjamin supervises the hulticulture students at the MSU Farm in East Lansing. He is married to his wife Meghan, who has a Doctorate from U of M in Entomolgy. Samantha, our daughter, has a degree from Eastern Michigan University in Human Resources. She works at Tompson Rueters in Ann Arbor as a Human Resources Specialist.

The teacher,trouter and tier
As for me, I am a graduate of Eastern Michigan University where I earned both my Bachelor and Master degrees. My teaching career spans a variety of grade levels in positions in Ypsilanti and Cadillac. While teaching I also coached football, baseball and wrestling. I moved to school administration in 1991. Serving as a building level administrator in Sparta, Charlotte and Comstock Park.
I retired as the Principal of Stoney Creek Elementary School and was hired as a contracted employee in 2010. Now serving as the district Curriculum Director I can still work to make a positive impact on our district.
When not working I love to fly fish (that's me ready to fish the Manistee River). In my spare time, if not actually on the river I can be found tying flies and dreaming of trout. I interrupt my love of fishing by being a life-long devoted Detroit Tigers fan and if not waist deep in a river in the fall I will be following football at the Big House in Ann Arbor. Bless You Boys and Go Blue!
